All the cabins are outside, and most have verandas. The standard deluxe cabins and balconied cabins are not quite as large as comparable cabins on other luxury lines such as Regent Seven Seas or Silversea Cruises, but are well-furnished with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury line. The penthouse level staterooms and suites are larger and include formal butler service.

Crystal Cruises Cuisine and Dining:

Crystal's cuisine is one of its many strengths. The ships have two seatings each evening in the main dining room. Each ship also has two small specialty restaurants--one Asian and the other Italian--that are available by reservation at no extra charge. The Serenity has a sushi bar. The menus are large and varied. The Lido buffet serves breakfast and lunch, and the pool grill is perfect for a late lunch or ice cream treat after a long day ashore.

Crystal Cruises Onboard Activities and Entertainment:

The long list of activities onboard these large luxury ships is impressive, including classes in such varied topics as computer, musical keyboard, and foreign languages. Each ship has a well-stocked library with books and movies. Expert speakers present destination and cultural lectures.

An evening show is held after each dinner seating in the Galaxy Lounge. The show troupe of singers and dancers is very talented, and the costumes are outstanding. Guest performers round out the entertainment.

Crystal Cruises Common Areas :

The ships are spacious and the decor is sophisticated and modern. The reception area is in the marvelous Crystal Plaza, which includes a multi-deck atrium. All the seats in the Galaxy Lounge have excellent views of the stage, and there is plenty of room for ballroom dancing in the Starlite Club and Palm Court. Despite their size, the ships have many small, intimate corners and lounges for quiet time.

Crystal Cruises Spa, Gym, and Fitness :

Steiner Platinum Service operates the spa facilities. Many interesting massage and beauty treatments are available in the seven therapy rooms. The ships have a separate room dedicated to yoga and pilates classes and a separate beauty parlor. The gym has bicycles and treadmills and weight machines. The pool area is large and spacious, and there are plenty of deck chairs. The ships have a paddle tennis court and golf driving range, and a golf pro is available for lessons.
