Another famous attraction site is Hin Ta- Hin ya, this place has strangely shaped rocks at south Lamai. Ancient houses made of teakwood are very popular in Koh Samui. The houses are constructed without using nails. These houses are almost 150 years old and have beautiful woodcarvings and designs. The other two popular places worth visiting in Koh Samui are the Butterfly Garden and the Magical Buddha garden which has several statues, gardens and temples.
