How to Find Out if a Bankruptcy Filing Has Been Dismissed in Alabama

- 1). Go to the PACER website (link provided in Resource section below). Click the "Search Now" button under the PACER Case Locator heading.
- 2). Log in by entering your username, password and client code. If you do not have an account, register by clicking the "Need an account?" link and following the prompts.
- 3). Choose "Alabama" as the region once you are signed in. Enter the case number if you know it or the name of the person who filed bankruptcy. Hit the "Search" button.
- 4). Browse the links on the results page to find the correct name, then look at the column to the right to check the disposition of the case. You can find out more information by clicking the case number highlighted in blue.
