How to Buy a Plane Ticket in Another Country
- 1). Go to either a nearby travel agent or to an airline's ticket counter.
- 2). Select the flight you want to buy tickets for.
- 3). Present the agent with your passport. The agent will then scan it to make sure your identity is correct and that you are in the country legally. You may also need another form of state-issued identification, such as a driver's license.
- 4). Purchase the ticket. This can be done with either cash or, more often, a credit card.
