Four Deaths Prompt Graco Stroller Recall

As a parent, it's tough to know what to do when it comes to protecting your child, especially when doing so may cause them danger.
Finding out that the stroller that has been carrying your baby may in fact be deadly may be one of your concerns.
The biggest fear for a lot of parents may be product liabilites such as this.
Adding to the long line of stroller recalls are Graco's older models of Quattro Tour and Metrolite strollers and travel systems that have induced four infant deaths between 2003 and 2005.
These deaths were the result of the infant being trapped between the stroller tray and bottom of the seat andinterestingly enough, the strollers being recalled were manufactured before the development in 2008 of a voluntary standard that requires a larger stroller openings between the stroller's tray and seat bottom to prevent such accidents.
The recall was reported by the Consumer Product Safety Commission on October 20, 2010 and may include up to 2 million strollers.
It may be difficult to come to terms with yourself when your child dies or has been hurt in your attempt to keep them safe, but the fault lies in the manufacturer.
These companies have an obligation to ensure that their products are safe before they are released in the marketplace to prevent these very accidents from happening.
Although it is unlikely that you will wholly recover from the death of your child, talking to a product liability lawyer may help.
